On August the 15th the whole school went to the Botanics. We all walked in a line. When we started the race my mum and dad were there. The whole school was cheering for us. Before the race I felt happy because I thought I was going to come in the first ten. I did!!! It was a great day. The best part was when I came in the first 20s. The next best was when I came 9th. I really, really liked it. I love cross country.
